Dr. Harout Tchoulhakian was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He attended California State University, Northridge, with a focus in cell biology. He completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic. He completed his chiropractic education as an intern for the Health Science Center in Bridgeport, CT. Following graduation, he worked at a private family practice in Minneapolis, MN, focusing on pediatric care and sports injuries and rehab. While working with various sports programs, he treated many athletes in the community. He served on the Apple Valley Association Board as the health and safety director, overseeing the athletic department in the Apple Valley community.

He relocated to New Jersey and worked at a multidisciplinary practice. He takes an integrated approach to care, coordinating and communicating with various healthcare specialists to provide comprehensive patient-centered care. Implementing the latest research in his approach to clinical care, he utilizes several treatment methods, including, but not limited to, chiropractic adjustments, flexion-distraction, various soft tissue techniques, therapeutic exercises. His areas of clinical expertise include sports and spinal injuries, sciatica, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, degenerative arthritis, and knee and shoulder conditions/injuries.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, volunteering for various recreational youth programs and traveling. To stay active, he regularly hikes, snowboards, and plays basketball and tennis. As a committed and passionate athlete, he has coached many basketball and soccer youth leagues. He is bilingual in both Armenian and English.
